Every day I learn something new and at the end of every shift the manager always asks what I learned that day. Somedays I meet with very friendly guests and their appreciation increases my confidence of providing even better service to them. When we work as a team for providing quick service to the guests during the busy time is the most enjoyable part of the job. There is no hard part of the job. I never felt any difficulty after the day I was trained and it only took 1 month.
Friendly and fast-paced environment, flexible hours, organic and environment friendly food.
I was hired immediately after my interview and was put into work without any training or prep. It's a learning on the job type job but was never properly trained like most employees.
50% discount on food
No matter how hard you work they just ignore. When comes to raises they will not give you what you deserve.rude customer’s Worst management they don’t have any education.

It was a pretty good job, especially while I was pregnant. It was laid back and was not too stressful, which was ideal for me on a high risk pregnancy. I enjoyed the people and I enjoyed the customers, even the difficult ones, would go back to work there any day.
Long hours, extremely painful, cashiers not treated as fairly as kitchen workers, still fairly laid back, paid minimum wage which honestly isn’t worth it for all you have to deal with
Ruthless customers, long painful hours
The personal experience was bad and favourited over others where the supervisor forgot about your vacation time each year and focused more on themselves than help you out.
Food is really good best onion rings and root beer
Inconsistent hours short summers long winters
If you’re in school and are looking for some extra money to help make it by, this is the job for you, flexible hours, great understanding staff, well trained and very polite and professional environment, I’d work here again for sure.
Woulda liked a pay raise
The job itself was easy and sometimes fun. There was no consistency with the scheduling and time off was something you could only dream of. Don't work here if you do anything other than school because they will not accomodate for you. The shifts are short and there was no pay increase (as they promised). There is no room for advancement here either. They like to schedule people for shifts that aren't long enough for them to legally be obligated to give you a break. Overall, I would not reccomend. However, for a first job and if you are someone who has no other commitments, I think it would be okay for you... just be warned.
The job was fairly easy
No flexibility with schedules, rude management, unpredictable hours (no consistency)
You don’t get a break unless you work 6 hours, and even then you get 1 half hour break. Even if you work 8+ hours. Always a very busy store (on Confederation St. Sarnia), and yet most of the time when we are busy we have a max of 4 people on, because “labor is too high”. A lot of excuses given. When the pandemic hit they let us decide if we wanted to wear a mask or not, and the manager at the time not only had to fight to give us the covid pay, but to get masks, gloves and hand sanitizer in store.
Management, labor regulations
It’s a great first time job, the manager is nice but don’t get on her bad side is all I’m gonna say.
Never be there late always make it on time, I didn’t do well because it was my first job!, plus I’m a mother so I have a lot in my plate. Everyone that works there are very friendly and they help you out a bit but most of the time you have too do things yourself. Like I said it’s a good first time job, just don’t be there late.
Free food an drinks
Gotta be quick
my work is at the kitchen, im at the middle to closing shift, when u work u have to be somehow busy, but i struggle with is, doing cleaning while u have to do orders, and u have to wash dishes, and that sort all of stuff, manager and supervisor is ok, fellow filipinos, im not the fastest guy but i do my job as best as i can, when i come in at work for my shift, each day is different but just same job routine.. for people that like to work fast pace, i encourage to apply.. i got this opportunity because the supervisor is my friend , but i didn't really expect to get hired here..
fast pace, u have to multi task in kitchen..
They hire you n tell you how good of a worker you are n how nice of a person you are n etc n then fires you for no reason at all. When you ask why he will not tell u. He will ignore you! I absolutely loved what I was doing n customers loved me but let me go for no reason at all. Has done it to more than 1 of there employees
A&W restaurants was my first job. Overall it was a very fun experience. I learned the meaning of serving customers so that they can be satisfied with their orders. Cleaning so that the restaurant can look good was also a very fun part about my job.
